Meet The Chef

     Sergiu Matea, a talented young chef, has quickly risen in the european-balcan gastronomy, bringing a lot of taste to the kitchen. His career is a true journey of discovery and challenges in french and italian cuisine. Born in Romania and moving to Azores in 2015, Sergiu Matea discovered his passion for cooking but at an early age, starting to cook 10 years ago. Growing up in a culture rich in gastronomic traditions, he nurtured his love for cooking until he became a prominent chef. Sergiu trained by working with some of the best chefs. Oversees the entire creative process, continuously investing in his knowledge, skills, and attention to details in fine dinning. His approach to cooking is characterized by a deep passion and a desire to experiment and innovate.
